TranScale - the TranScale electronics feature 2 trimpots located inside the control panel cover on the back. Trimpot VR1 is for adjusting the output (volume) level of the piezo while trimpot VR2 is for adjusting the output (volume) level of the magnetic pickups. These are preset at the factory to create equal volume levels but you can adjust them to suit your musical taste.

Often, the lower string(s) have either too much output or not enough in relation to the other strings. Depending upon your playing style, this stereo output feature is vital if you want the best possible bass sound. Every Synapse bass features 3 trimpots located inside the control panel cover on the back. These are preset at the factory to create balanced volume levels between the lower bass strings, the higher bass strings and the magnetic pickup. However, you can adjust to suit your musical taste.
